A term originally coined and developed by Geoffrey Moore in his book ‘Dealing With Darwin’. IN the context of People First, I am applying the term to how people see themselves and how they prefer to fit into an organization.
A term I am using throughout People First to describe the ‘weight of thought’ that is prevalent in modern society that we accept as a ‘matter of fact’ that we live in a Corporate World and there is nothing more you can do.
People First believes this is the wrong approach. Society is nothing if not a set of constructs created by people. This those constructs can be changed by people.
We can do, but only when there is sufficient weight on the People side of the equation that we are recognized.
